Army Ant Gear - Holsters
I had an extremely good after sales service from Johan at Army Ant Gear.
I bought a hybrid holster from him quite some time back. A few months ago, one of the belt loops broke, luckily i had a spare one from an old Alien ant gear holster, which fitted. On Sunday the other loop also broke.
Now i've never been without my FA during the day and the thought worried me about going to work without it (i have no spare holster....lesson learnt).
I texted Johan on Sunday morning asking him how much the belt loops were because mine broke, so i could order and collect urgently. Johan responded saying that i must send him my courier address so he can send replacements asap. Day and a half later, 4 new loops arrive with no charge.
Excellent!!!!!
Johan, you're a super star.
Thanks mate

Are the belt loops made of kydex?

To be honest, Skaap. I'm not 100% sure. It looks like and feels like kydex, but i could be wrong thought. Its really hard plastic, strong and quite i bit thicker than my previous loops.
EDIT.
He also operates from Centurion so he should be close by to you. If i remember correctly, Gerhardsville (spelling) is the area

Re: Army Ant Gear - Holsters
I have the appendix holster.
EDC a Glock 21 and it’s by far the most comfortable holster I’ve ever used.

Re: Army Ant Gear - Holsters
Are any any of you using a Sergeant or General holster ?
Are these a quality holster? I have been looking around for a hybrid holster for my first FA and I would like to buy a local product if the quality is good.
Also checking out their leather belts.

Re: Army Ant Gear - Holsters
I spoke to someone at Army Ant over Facebook messenger, not sure who it was, but they were very helpful.
They mentioned that they would like me to purchase one of their products through one of their dealers, which is actually pretty cool, as they obviously want to support their dealers.
They sent me a whole bunch of suppliers in my area, and answered questions i had about belt size. So from that point, customer service is rad.
I am just looking for honest, no bull feedback about their holsters. They one of the few local guys that i could find doing hybrids that look decent.
As for their leather belt, it looks like a decent belt that doesnt scream 'Tacti cool'. I am trying to keep a very low profile and the less visible hints, the better.

Been using a General + CZ75 for about a year now. Very satisfied.
Bought from Jizni at Huntex last year.
