What are the operating hours of the CFR, what time do they close?
Also what numbers can I call as the 012 353 6111 no longer exists

012 353 6111 still exists. I called today and got through. It's just a lottery whether it will be answered or not.

Not sure with Covid if they still operate 24 hours, back in 2019 I always got hold of someone between 22:00 to 23:30 or 05:30 to 06:30 on this number 012 353 6111 or 012 353 6937.
Success I had in the past is to email them and after a few days they did respond.

Have you tried tracking your application on Services | SAPS (South African Police Service) the website using your reference, ID / serial number ?

Thanks, do you know if there is an email address I can use to contact them regarding Application Statuses, as SAPS licence tracking page is down

I tried calling the CFR yesterday and now and the lines are off.
Did someone run in to the same problem or are the CFR on holiday?

There are reports that they are busy moving to another building, that could be the reason that the lines are down. Imagine how many applications will be lost in transit now!

I don't even want to think about it, mine is stuck send to CFR for the past 3 weeks, and now, I fear the worst.
