When I got my Telkom internet line at home at the beginning of the year it was a mojor problem to get it up and running. At a point I got so fedup that I packed everything back in the box and went back to the Telkom office and made one hell of a scene. I told them that they should take the modem and the whole line and shove it where the sun does not shine. I made a hell off a racket but it did help as they phoned other numbers not available to the public for assistance and only then my problems got sorted out.
