    Default .22 slip on supressor

Hi guys. Noticed all the supressor threads are about 4 + years old.. where can I locate a slide/slip on supressor for my old Anschutz .22? I know having a thread cut, removing the front sight and fitting a decent silencer at a GS would be the best route to go. Any updates on current products/pricing and or advice?

Me too please! How effective are slip-on vs. threaded?

Effectiveness is fine on my Brno with a slip on with regards to silencing, but I hate that thing. The fastening screws are damaging the barrel on the outside, that I don't like. Accuracy goes haywire when attached. I almost never use it anymore. Can't remember the brand, but with it attached my rifle cannot even get a 3 inch group at 50 meters. Flyers all over. Without the slip on silencer 1 inch at 50 meters is achievable.

Threaded is way better. As they can reduce the size of hole through it to capture more gasses.
On slip on type they enlarge the whole alot to accommodate for alignment to barrel.

A bit of lead shot in the grub screw holes will stop the barrel damage.

Try different sub sonic ammo, accuracy can sometimes be ammo related.

I'm really enjoying my slip on that I got from sedwill and it's very accurate with S&b subs.

Just bought some magtech, keen to see if there is a difference.
