Re: WINCHESTER 1300 DEFENDER VALUATION
Saw another mint Defender 1300 today at Dave Sheers Hub for R7k. I guess average price has gone up. I would still put average value at around R5k. But last two mint ones I came across were going for R7k.

Re: WINCHESTER 1300 DEFENDER VALUATION
I bought one in good, but used condition from a forum member not long ago for R3.5k. Yes, I know him off forum as well so maybe that contributed to the price, but I got a ton of extras:
Fiber optic front sight
4 x shell holders with spacers
At least a case of ammo, including sport loads, rifled slugs and several others
Carry bag
Nice sling
Extended mag tube (now holds 10+1 of the short shells)
Cleaning kit
So may of it what you may.

Re: WINCHESTER 1300 DEFENDER VALUATION
I'd say a Winnie in good nick is worth 5 to 6k max.

Re: WINCHESTER 1300 DEFENDER VALUATION
In current market. You should be happy to get 4k for very decent one.
Worth a little more. But economy not rosy.
For estate purposes value should be low. As you will be taxed on it as well as attorneys handling estate will charge their fee on value of estate as %.
So for estate purposes R2000 max
