Re: Scopes, help me choose please
3 - 9 of what ever brand you like, for me Burris and Lynx.
The above covers everything hunting.
If you want a target or sniping scope then forget about a bush velt hunting scope, and buy a target or sniping scope, trying to buy half of each leaves you in a never satisfied world.
3 - 9 does the trick for anything if you hunting.

Thanks for all the input, had a look at the Burris scopes and really like them. Maybe get it sorted in the next week or so.

There's a saying,K.I.S.S- Keep it simple stupid! Looked at a Burris Fullfield 4-16 x 50 Ballistic E3, and for me it ticks all the boxes, including a great price.
Great having you okes to get some perspective! Thanks

Re: Scopes, help me choose please
I have Swarovski Habicht 4*32 scope on my Sauer 30-06. 50 to 200m is perfect. Would change it for anything bigger or more gadgets. Point, aim pull the trigger and the job gets done. On my Creedmoor paper and gong killing setup I am putting on Delta Javelin with all the bells and whistles. Different rifles with different needs and uses and I think I have the correct glass
