Great fun for all fire-arm enthusiasts and their friends and family.
    This is our Twentieth anniversary.

Grouping Competition:The grouping shoot has always been our main event. The attraction is that any shooter can participate with an everyday hunting rifle. No equipment race here. Furthermore, no time is wasted on sighting in. If you can hit an A3 sized target, you group is measured.
Though PMP/ProAmm has withdrawn as sponsor, this item lives on.
The grouping is now shot with own rifle and ammo, any calibre, handloads wellcome.
Prizes awarded to first 10 smallest groups, as well as junior and ladies categories.

    Big Bore shoot:
Under the capable guidance of BASA (Big Bore Association of SA), any rifle 9,3 mm and bigger can compete in a simulated big game hunt.
An attractive hunting package is the first prize.

    Handgun shoot:
Craig Gadd and his SAS team guide handgun shooters on a course to shoot their own handguns.

    Clay Target shoot:
Clay targets with shotguns, going away and cross flying birds, with 12 bore shotguns.
Ammo supplied, own or loan gun.

Own rifle and ammo - 10 cartridges.

    Sniper special:

Paul Oxley will be there to inform the public about GOSA, and how things are going with the fight.
(It was through Paul's good offices that we managed to get Truvelo on board.)

Many shooters camp on the range - there are state of the art ablution facilities, and lots of fire wood.
    Camping is free.
Others book into lodges in the area, e-mail us at if you need to be put on track.

Correction: My wife objects to the "State of the art ablution facilities" she calls it "BASIC".

In mitigation she has never been to the Western Cape approaching Day Zero!

It still is a million star camping facility, and you can shower as long as you want to.!
