Hi there
I want to know if 450 to 500 rounds fired through a Ruger Redhawk in 44 Mag can cause some wear on the barrel or is this only enough to do a run in on the barrel?

The Redhawk is a tank! My guess is that 400-500 rounds would not even be measurable wear-wise in the barrel.

The 450-500 rounds. Do you know if they were factory or handloads.

As far as barrel wear is considered, I agree with ikor

No , somebody phoned me with another Redhawk he wants to sell which did not saw more than 50 rounds through the barrel.
I'll get it on Monday because he must fetch it from a gundealer first. I am going to pay R 1500 for a gun in excellent condition and can't wait to get it. As you saw in my introduction I am a stainless steel Ruger collector with 42 Rugers at the moment and counting.
