Mine came home a month ago...... am impressed with it ! No upper wobble !!! Very solid. I have only shot some 55gr Bullets through it and accuracy is good but will load some heavier Bullets and check as the barrel is 1 in 8.
Did have an issue with some reloaded brass which was sourced from Norinco type 84, looks like they have to be resized to chamber
Did that with some additional reloads and all good. Ran about 200 rounds through it and no stoppages.

From Drifter, it’s the 1-8x24. Was a special order, had to place it specifically. Ultimo don’t bring it in normally

Loved tge recon reviews and all associated with the Recon, Blackhawk furniture stock and grip and the with the M16 bolt carrier with sites etc. Then could not find one available. Went to SO Aa month ago and they had 4 or 5 new stock. Dissappointed no Blackhawk furniture anymore nor sites and a normal AR15 bolt carrier all the traits that let it stand out from the crowd in tgat price bracket. Had a look then at the M&P 15T with also the 5R rifling and sites etc also 1/8 twist and the bokt carriers etc exactly the same even the forging mark gone is the square of the Savage forging mark. Decided then to buy the 15T instead with M-lok for the same money.
    Enjoy yours.
