Dimitri , we the breeder Kostas Gerakis ( spelling)

Last saw Kostas in Dullstroom in April 2019 , shortly before he got ill.
On that day my pointer FTch Fairwood Dino was bitten by Puffadder and did not make it.
The sad part was the I had left with at the Vet in Lydenburg as he was not well enough to travel.
He was my shadow, and he died alone, and that really really sad.
For all the hard work and pleasure he gave he desrved more.
    Hi Tracker,

Sorry, only saw your post now.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your dog Dino. Very sad.

Yes, the breeder was Kostas Gerasis. My friend, Aki (Theodore) Ververis has taken over the breeding of Uncle Kosta's Kinigos Kyon GSPs. They had 2 new litters in December 2020 - one of 12 pups and one of 8 pups. Most of them are solid liver. It was a full time job running the GSPs BEFORE the 20 puppies arrived. Now the dogs see Aki more than his friends and family do!! :)

ManMagnum Magazine recently published an article that I wrote about a humorous incident involving Aki's grandfather, Uncle Theodore. They also published a pic of one of his solid liver GSPs.

Was this the story about the special wine he made? Was a great story!

Yes indeed. It was about the special wine that he made which I tasted while everyone was waiting for my assessment of that fine vintage.

    Thank you for the compliment.
