Nothing wrong with a bigger dagger style blade.
How would you carry it?
From how many restricted positions would you be able to access it?
Could you access it with both hands?
Things to consider in my opinion.

Please somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to recall that deadly weapons like knopkieries and assegaais were at some point in the past permitted at public gatherings or rallies because they were classified as 'cultural weapons'.

I also recall reading that around the time they were preparing for the 2010 World Cup and there were lots of "cultural" things they wanted to do. One was where an ox is wrestled and maimed before ultimately dying. I am still not sure how a dagger is cultural here?Nb. Not trying to derail the thread.
