    Cool DIY Appendix Holster "Claw"

For those that don't know, the idea of a "claw"is to press against the belt and tuck the grip of the pistol in tighter.
It conceals the full size grip effortlessly and makes a big difference in what clothes I can now conceal in.

It is a Daniels Holsters IWB holster.

I made it from 3mm thick aluminium, just bent it in the vice to a 45 degree angle, cut the shape with a grinder and drilled the two holes to mount it.

I will sand it better and paint it flat black in time.

I did this while I am waiting for my Tier 1 holster to arrive.

Should be interesting how my DIY job fare against a high end AIWB holster.

How did the claw work out longer term?

    Brilliant actually.

I cut it a little bit shorter as it was catching my middle finger when I draw, and then I painted it black.
I used it daily before my Tier 1 Concealed holster came, and then only when I don't want to carry an extra magazine in me.
It does not conceal as well as my T1C holster, but it is close. I think you can now order a DH with a claw, and I would recommend
one if you don't want to DIY.

Now I have donated it to my dad, as my RMR wont fit, and he loves it.

Just saw this thread and it reminded me of similar claws that I did a while back.
