Aimpoint Acro
A big advantage I see is keeping clean, besides when I’m going on deep dive missions, the lint and dust on the RMR glass and emitter means a clean almost every second day. The RMR still shows the Red dot, but the dust works on my OCD :-)

Aimpoint Acro
Should I shouldn’t I - mill my G26 gen 5 and put this on for EDC?
Current EDC is HK P30. Awaiting licence for G26
Due to pinched nerve I battle to keep shakes under control when aiming - will the shaking be more or less apparent... cause the more you see the shaking the more you shake

You will see more shakes through a dot. You will learn to ignore them.

Re: Aimpoint Acro
Had an opportunity to shoot the ACRO today. Very impressed. The pictures make it seem a lot bigger than it actually is. Aimpoint is going to sell a lot of these..

Re: Aimpoint Acro
With Antlion we had an opportunity to shoot not only this but few other rmr’s. I’m not the greatest shot in the world and made head shots easy at 25-30m with a handgun. For me that’s massive. It’s cheating once you get the art of it going. If you going this route I suggest you go all in transition between this and sights is hard. The Acro is amazing

Re: Aimpoint Acro
Drifting off topic a bit but half decent iron sights and a handgun will easily make consistent IDPA headshots at 50 metres (longer if a decent shooter). But yes red dots make it easier in not having to focus on a rear and front sight. The problem comes in finding the red dot in a hurry. I think that might require some practice.
