In the Heart of the Whore - Jacques Pauw
So I went digging through my collection and found this book that I hadn't read yet. I think a bunch of his older books were reprinted after the release of The President's Keepers (Which i have yet to read...) and I bought this book and another of his which I will post about after I have read it. Its a really interesting read as most of these types of books that peak behind the curtain of any clandestine government operations can be. It was published in 1992 or around there so the information is quite outdated and the reprints have not been update which i think is a bit of a shame as some of the questions raised in the book can be answered by now given what has come to light during the TRC in the years shortly after this book was published and many of the incidents described has been investigated and covered by other authors over the years (Peter Stiff come to mind). I find the book jumps around a bit but on the whole i enjoyed the read.Death Squads.jpg

Yes, it seems he was the main source for a lot of the information.
