Re: Eliminator 9mm para?
hey john,
There's a very interesting thread regarding eliminators here:
http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/show...mm-Eliminators
They appear to be not without controversy.

Re: Eliminator 9mm para?
With lots of guys here not liking eliminators - I have put them through a wetpack and all I can say is that of all the other stuff I shot that day (including some premium grade hallow points) it was the most impressive, decent penetration and it ceated the biggest "wound channel", or as I like to call it, a fist sized hole! But, these are fine for close encounters with humans, I wouldn't try a 35 yard shot at a vehicle or anything as I don't believe they will penetrate. I carry them, just my 5 cents.

Re: Eliminator 9mm para?
They are s#it. As simple as that. People are unfortunately not made of wet paper and channels in paper do not correlate with permanent cavities in human flesh. Fast, lightweight 9mm rounds have been widely condemned. Carry at your own peril

Re: Eliminator 9mm para?
Even if you assume they will feed and function through your pistol correctly, which seems to be an issue with this stuff due to really spotty QC, the so called terminal 'performance' is mostly for pleasing crowds at demos. They are death on water jugs at 5-7 meters...when they work...but water jugs are not the threat. Leave this stuff on the shelf.

Re: Eliminator 9mm para?
Do not, will not recommend NGA ammo - period! Seen too many KB's. Another one a couple of weeks ago with an IDPA shooter's Browning HP. Bulged barrel and cracked slide.
Tried an Eliminator once in my M&P9 and the bullet made it flush with the muzzle and that's were it stayed. And, being solid copper, it was a real s*d to bang out. I think they were saving powder that day! So, based on a sample of one, leave them well alone. If all else fails, use a bigger mousetrap
