Check out the SADPA website which lists the various clubs and contact persons.

Both Tac SHAC Defensive Pistol Club and Johannesburg Defensive Pistol Club shoot from Cecil Payne Shooting range in Nadine street Roodepoort. Their contact details are on the page that Tayls listed.

JDPC might be your best option here. Tac Shac have indicated they will be replacing IDPA with IPSC matches.

    I’ve not seen that.

Might be Paul and Lynette's replies to SADPA Circular Letter Number 6 and a few emails received, they don't say they won't be shooting IDPA matches anymore, but they also don't mention IDPA in any of the messages of organizations they will be shooting with...

They have said in the past that they would still facilitate SADPA / IDPA membeships for any member who still wishes to continue with the sport.
They would also host matches if members wanted, they would just be unable to partake, SO, or be MD. The Thursday matches (although I haven't attended any), still seem to be Tier 1 matches with SADPA / IDPA results, etc.

I believe the club is looking to shift focus from just IDPA to more a multi discipline organization, how much time that leaves for all different sports codes we will see.

It has been made very clear by Tac Shac on this forum & more so in communications to club members and on social media that the intention is to replace IDPA with IPSC.

The answer for the OP is relevant here, approach JDPC for IDPA.

Eh? You seemed pretty certain. You made the statement as fact. Now you want Tac SHAC to provide clarification?

Approach them directly if you have questions.
