Shotshell rigs.
Question to the guys that use the rigs such as the King Competition and EZ-load: what would you suggest in terms of number of rounds that your rig is capable of carrying for IPSC shoots?
I see they come in multiples of 4 rounds so theoretically you can have a 8 rounder for short stages, a 20 for longer stages or combine the 2 for 28 total on long stages.
Any suggestions/advice will be appreciated.

Re: Shotshell rigs.
As BigT likes to say, you can fit 8 rounds on a 48 round rig, you cannot fit 48 rounds on an 8 round rig
I really like the King Competition stuff, but man does it make ones eyes water when looking at the price

Re: Shotshell rigs.
King Competition is the standard for a reason.
hey are expensive, they're still cheaper than buying three other rigs and then buying the King you should've bought in the first place.
Anything less than the 28 rounder is a waste

Re: Shotshell rigs.
Thanks for the responses. To clarify; general consensus seems to be to have a carrier that holds 28 or more shells. Does this imply a single carrier that holds 28 shells carried on all stages irrespective of the number of rounds needed for the stage or a combination of carriers, say a 8 round and a 20 rounder worn together?
