I must say cutting down the front "sweat guard" does make it easier to re-holster. Definitely a must do in my opinion.

Doing that makes it easier to flag yourself when re-holstering so extra attention must be paid.

As it is with almost every other holster. I realized that their holster design allowed them to use the same holster for left and right handers. So by not cutting of the one sweat guard it saves them time.
    This is just my assumptions.

Almost, but not entirely, I gave 2 of his holsters with wedged for AIWB, and the sweat guard is still on the outside.

I did cut one of my strong side Daniels holsters for one of my pistols and noticed it becomes easier to flag yourself.

I know it is possible to flag oneself when holstering, thus its not the kits responsibility but your own to keep yourself safe.
Keep your eye on the firearm when holstering, make sure nothing is in the trigger guard and keep your booger hook of the bangswitch.

When you "sweep" the barrel past or at any part of your body, or someone else body
