I'm puzzled. Exactly what does a licence get?
So I'm puzzled. Exactly what does a licence get?
The possible but vague begged for privilege of owning a firearm for a short time. A licence that can be revoked at any time and a process that simply does not work or serve any valid purpose. 150,000 firearm licences issued in 5 years. The old act saw that many issued in 1 year and supported more then 700 firearm dealers. There are less than 50 now.
Does it buy peace and security or guarantee anything? Should those who have one celebrate or or think of how many ways they can lose this worthless piece of paper?
While 500...1000 cops spend each day making a few people happy the whole country suffers with rampant crime. Don't expect much sympathy from those who have to suffer firearm owners who want a faster more efficient and costly FCA.
We could bitch and scream about the stupidity of this Act and make our wait just a little more satisfying of seeing this utter foolishness get tossed.

Re: Thanks!
There are a number of guys on Gunsite that work really hard at trying to get firearm owners sufficiently motivated to save firearm ownership from the FCA. We should all pray to whoever it is that they don't become disillusioned with the general apathy of firearm owners who don't know any better. Say a big thank you to those who work and invest the time and effort to change the situation.
The FCA is not designed to issue licences or for firearm ownership. Something that firearm owners and organisations keep forgetting and pretending somehow firearm ownership will survive. It may for the very few elitists who can afford the cost's, time and inconvenience. For us plebs there will be only one outcome and it is not firearm ownership. What is the FCA designed to do? Who designed it? GFSA or more correctly the Gun Control Alliance.
Now I'll be accused of being negative again by the elitists. Facts are impartial and have no bias. Denial is as negative as you can get.
There is help and information available on getting started and making an impact. Just ask and thanks for saying thanks to those who can help, they appreciate it but seldom get it.
