No, mine are pink when wet and blue when dry.

Edit: Just heard back from Solenco and apparently they think there is a heating element problem so they will be sending me a replacement unit. Great service as I didn't even buy directly from them.

Meaco dehumidifier from Builders. Have it for about 3 weeks now. Keeps humidity at 45% (down from 70 to 80). No rust and nothing growing on the wood any more. I just need to empty the water from the tank every second day.
