The Claw Bonded bullet is a very well priced local bullet as well.
The Barnes/Partitions/Accubond/A Frames are obviously superb, but probably double the price of the Kriek and Claw bullets

Yes I forgot the Claw bullets, used many of them - tough bullet indeed.

Are Kriek Bullets available at gun shops or do you have to order from sapremiumbullets?

I think you have to order Kriek, since they're made and sold by Johan directly (I may be wrong here). The Frontier Spartans are still available, both online and in stores, but hellishly expensive for what you get, if you ask me. They make big tunnels in animals in larger calibers. I've never seen a BWB go down so fast as when hit with a 250gr Spartan from a .338WM. Crossed the road, ran head-first into a bush and died standing up in said bush. Blood aplenty.

I don't think there will be much difference between the local expanding mono's, so Peregrine, Spartan, GS, or Ballistix should all do the same thing.... hit, expand, pass through. The Barnes will be a bit better with respect to rapid expansion and petals that peel back ever so sweetly to more than twice the bullet diameter, but they are a bit pricey and hard to find.

Was just saying on another thread, we are so screwed here in the RS of fnnn A.
Just had 100 Barns TSSX brought in from states - 2 boxes of 50 R900
They are also very scarce that side, my first call a favour could not get any within 300 miles and he called a favour and that guy found 2 boxes of TSSX, my request was 3 box's TSX, all he could get was TSSX and only 2 box's.

The Peregrine expanders for .375 are the VLR4, 270 grainers are R500 for 25. If you take 100 the price is slightly better.

This is a better price than premium overseas bullets.

Between Frontier Range Master for rifle targets, and Peregrine for target or hunting, I don't need overseas bullets.

Thanks chaps, I think I have some good local options, much appreciated. Out of interest how do the peregrine’s compare to the krieks?
