Lekker man, lekker.
You will not regret it. I enjoy mine (tactical) a lot. And it is freakin accurate.

Re: Ruger 10/22 thoughts?
Stupid question inbound
Under what does one license 10/22?
I am itching for a rimfire. Just not sure what i want.
Semi auto 10/22 0r 15/22 bolt action
Actually i would love a 15/22 but if that means dedicated sport ill have to give it a miss..
Wish i never started reading these freds never thought id need one till recently.
Especially the 15/22 freds..

Re: Ruger 10/22 thoughts?
For a 10/22 you will need to license under Section 16 and will need DSS and an endorsement.
Without DSS I would try for a lever action or pump, but prefer the lever guns. I am not sure what are the options. Just know a neighbour with a .22 lever action from Winchester. Pretty good rifle.

Ruger 10/22 thoughts?
Sec16 dedicated status - sport shooting. I have a 10/22 Ruger target. Is is the most fun gun I own. Super accurate. I have a lever action .22LR Miroku as well... its just as fun and you can shoot pretty fast with some practice.

Re: Ruger 10/22 thoughts?
I was in a similar boat, decided to go bolt action . I found a CZ 455 on special. The 457s are still a fair bit higher priced.
