Re: Coronavirus. Already here?
I have not ventilated COVID patients, but plenty of ARDS and we ended up doing 72 hours of 12 hours on their tummy- Prone and 12 hours on their back intermittently.
These patients does not like to be turned or moved and desaturate easily. So taking them for CT scans etc is always risky.
But let Lithium rather answer the question.

Re: Coronavirus. Already here?
I may be wrong, but I don't think Covid kills you. It causes complications that cause death, much like AIDS doesn't kill you but rather complications. Covid is being put on death certificates as a contributory cause of death, but not the actual cause of death. Anyone that says that they have seen a South African death certificate with COVID as a cause of death is talking shit, because home affairs does not put an actual cause of death on the death certificate any more, only "natural causes" , " unnatural causes" , and "under investigation".
