Good review, I notice the caliber is .308 and the brass /bullets are easy to obtain..it will be nice to start re-loading for this rifle for sure..I really got a great looking rifle for absolutely free today, I did not pay any money for it.

For the members who think they will want to buy a Swiss K31 Smidt/Ruben 7.5 x 55 cal ..I received a price on one in a good condition...I do not know if I must cry or laugh ..such a rifle members cost between R25000 to R30000...and the rifle that is available really is in a great condition..man , I can not believe this is what these rifles cost...

Eish, Gert I somehow can’t believe that, I’m sure Classic Arms is smoking some strong stuff. I was expecting in the 8K category

I am believing the same you are ...it does not seem to be possible for this type of rifle to be so expensive ....maybe the person made a mistake..I can probably believe it if it is a sought after rifle for collectors...I am not sure these rifles are collectors items since they are frequently used and shot at different Swiss rifle club shooting days in Johannesburg and Cape Tow.,n

It would be great if a Swiss K31 owner can give us more information in regards to the value of these rifles Cordite Crazy

My friend Dave in the USA said they sell for a $1000 if in good condition, the mil surp rifles are cheap in the USA..
