Re: Whisky appreciation thread.
Funny story... Had a new Danish friend try to tell us about his favourite whisky years ago. "Glenfarclas" he kept saying. My other SA friends and I kept on telling him, "You're saying it wrong, its Gelnfiddich" LOL - little did we know 20 years ago...

Stopped drinking in 2018 so now i just add to what was left at that time.
I buy the odd Johnnie and Jameson for the guys when there's a party at my place, but these guys don't get touched...... and since i don't drink they won't get touched.
Nothing beats a good whisky

+1 on the Auchentoshan. 'Discovered' it in a few years back. Very smooth, delighted to have found it on takelot.

Re: Whisky appreciation thread.
I think it's time to revive this thread...
I've recently acquired a few new bottles and basically blew my remaining whisky budget for the year on one order.
Glenfarclas 17 - I've tasted this before and it has been on my wishlist for quite some time now, so I finally pulled the trigger on it.
Glen Scotia 15 - This one looks very promising, I've never tasted it though.
Arran 10 - It's been a long time since an acquisition of a 10 year old whisky had me this excited.
Tomatin 12 - I've managed to get it at a good price, so why not try it out?
Delivery should take place early next week, time will tell if all of those will live up to expectations.
