.22 blanks

Hi guys.
anyone know where i can find .22 blanks? My nephew is working on a game farm outside bethlehem and they use it in their dart gun but cant find any close to them. Im in PTA so if anyone knows where ill be able to get for him? The ones they have left looks like CCI if that helps.

The once they sell for Nail Guns. Will they not work at all. I recall once seeing them. And they looked similar then 22 cases. But I did not measure it. Just saw guys using the nail gun.

Yup, I'm pretty sure HILTI make one that fits .22 - not sure about pressures though.

Those hilti cartridges are pretty expensive though. Over R3 a pop.

Hi Hannes.

I have some old stock lying around I could possibly donate to you as long as you have a 22 license (I would need to see the licence when meeting), it is an old batch I have but they still go bang when I last tested. Maybe they will work for your needs.
I think they are the type for starter pistols, I'll double check.

I'm not sure if they will be strong enough for a dart gun but its worth a try?

Alternatively, check with Hilti (tools) if they still sell the different strength caps in strips for the older nail guns.
I'm honestly not sure if they are still sold, I haven't bought in a while for mine. I don't use it frequently any more and still have the stock I need.

I'll check their size for comparison but I'm dead sure it is a 22 blank just with various strength loadings.

The Hilti DX cartridges come in strips of 10, there are 10 strips in a box, 100 cartridges.
3 strengths, green, red and yellow.

Go to your local abattoir and enquirer were they source their bolt-gun's .22 blank's
