They have been saying this for years, not sure if it has materialized as yet. One of the reasons I bought my 375 when I did.

But like everything in life they have to adjust their business interests to current trends.
Percentage wise nobody hunts big game anymore, and those with the money to do so already have several big bores.
As opposed to the shooting industry where everybody is buying a target rifle these days, even normal hunters do more target shooting. For most people the story is the same, he’s got some uber needmoor with which he shoots on the range, and his got his father’s inherited “insert here” rifle with which he hunts most of his stuff in the bush.
Then couple that with our draconian gun laws and uber inept licensing system.
I don’t think there is a real market for these types of weapons anymore, definitely not like the sport(read not hunting) shooting scene.
