In Africa Uganda is crazy in terms of lockdown, the rest had very soft ones at best. Essentially just blocking tourist flights (cargo was ongoing). But then our beloved and allwise Squirrel in Chief is linked familywise to one president in Uganda. Must be a family thing.

    Covid hoax aside.
Has anyone else's situational awareness gone for a ball of shit after the lockdown?

Our company has offices in a few African countries.

Lockdown is still happening, but the informal economy carry’s on. Also, apparently not that many extra deaths as well, I’m told

Well the price of pine apples is back to R 10 a pop, compared to R 30 during lock-down.

Who would have thought that, why so much demand for them during that period I wonder?

The demand for pineapples and instant yeast suddenly and inexplicably increased at exactly the same time that alcohol was banned...

Yeah if people had only purchased proper stuff they wouldn't have gotten sick and they would have had some proper beers to drink during lockdown.

Evidently China is deemed low risk and welcomed in. Ditto other African countries.

No issue with this, it's not like American and European tourists float the industry...
