Default Travel permit, clearance during shut down

How would one get a permit to travel to a farm once a week?
The land does not belong to me but I have animals that need checking and working, there is only so much and for so long that staff can be left to do.

I am assuming there would be some provisions made.

Not sure if it would apply to u. But this is what our company is doing now.
They first thought a simple letter stating would be enough. Apparently not..

"Cape Town - All businesses that will be allowed to provide essential services are required to seek approval from the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition."

So the government really expects all the essential businesses in the whole of South Africa must get clearance from the department first?!!

Do they know how many businesses that will be and how much time it would take to approve, it could take all the 21 days for all we know?! Really we have idiots in charge.

So I cannot even pick up my son from my ex-wife 3km away from me? It will be tough not seeing my son for this whole period, which can be extended as well.

Without any clear directives as yet regarding co-parenting during these uncertain times, it is now clear that children will not be able to move between parents.

Thanks. I suppose I can phone our police office and ask. My ex wife must drive to work, so it might be fine if she can drop my son at my house. He can't stay alone at home, what if robbers try to get in? Hell no, I want him with me.
