Has anyone else found as mentioned by tcbc that the rest type used with a springer can affect grouping? I have noted it in some cases, but never took notice of the observation.
I also have old Tasco scopes on the Springers I own, but only 4 x magnification. I was under the impression the parralax would be far worse with the 9 x magnification. Was I wrong about this?

Yes. the higher the magnification, the more parallax becomes an issue.

    Ai

    Mr Stone

Go print two papers with 7 blocks on them.
Shoot each only on one specific magnification, first block 3 and last block 9.

    You dig?

No need for that really. I have established that the problem was not with the scope's parallax but with my air rifle shooting technique.

Yeah I was just questioning your testing methods here :)
It’s like testing a rifle load with ONLY the beginning charge and the max charge but ignoring the rest in-between and trying to make sense of the figures none the less.

And you are not even locked in, you are locked out

That is pretty much the truth of it.
