Reading up a while back when seeing an article on the devices, a few Chinese websites (Wish amongst others) were selling them and shipping as car parts etc to buyers in the States (and other countries too).

Turning a readily available and standard Glock with a happy stick inserted into a full auto pistol in the wrong hands obviously left the US police force a challenge on their hands and a total and stringent ban was implemented on all known imports and suspected imports were traced and premises raided where possible.
As if a pew button really could make that big a difference.

Criminals be doing whatever they want anyway.

Maybe the device will make them waste ammo or break the guns.

Gun control is gun control. If theirs and our justice system actually did their jobs all the gun control and automatic pew pews would STILL not make or mean any difference.
