    Hi all,

I have yet to sight in the rifle, but here is my Galil.

The receiver is not as precisely machined as the LM series of rifles, so adjustments were required.

That reminds me - due to several requests, I did speak with a specialist regarding manufacture of simple cheek raisers made out of kydex. Specifically to fit the standard Galil and LM stock. I'll have some feedback in April.

Here's another two pictures of the rail fitted to a more standard LM4.

We've changed the formula for the parkerizing solution to Thermoil Granadine. Looks a bit more matte black than the older formula. Here's a picture of a set I've done for Sakohunter.

For those with kits who are wondering what optics you can fit - AR15 mounts fit perfectly. I purchased one today and I've seen a few in use. Going to book a day this week to see how far out I can push the accuracy. Fits solid like a rock.

PS - Under the current circumstances, if there's anyone in the JHB area who needs a kit for their rifle, but can't afford one or wait for an installation, I've got two installed sample kits that I'm willing to trade free of charge for two standard dustcovers and gas tubes. At least one should be for an LM5. PM me if interested.

I didn't even notice that cutout on the mount. But no, this rail sits slightly too high for a co-witness with the irons. You'll have to remove the optic first. That being said, there's enough real estate at the front to fit a red dot for the same purpose.
