It is unbelievalble how tame they become. There is a pair living in the the grassland surrounding my house. I usally see them when I am on my way home in the evenings. They have become so used to my bakkie, that they hardly lift their heads when I pass. Once a year, for a while there are three when the ewe has lambed.
My wife is not so fond of them, as they have a great liking for whatever is in the flower bed, outside the security fence.
To me, they are some of the most beautifull antilope in South Africa.

Fast little buggers, dumb but fast.
Day or night when you catch them between the fences of a gravel road they often try and outrun you straight down the road, making quick steps left and right, while you of course are just driving straight. Some do this for a very long time until they run out of steam and only then do they immediately aim for the fence. And then when you pass them they often just stop right there, while other antelope will keep on running.
