Default Imported gun magazines to buy

    Hi everyone,

Are there any shops left that stock imported gun magazines in SA? Or are there any local magazines still around besides Magnum?

Gun Digest, Edc, Sports Shooter related?

    Regards,
    K

I haven't bought an imported physical gun or classic car mag in a decade or more. At that stage Estoril books in 4ways had a reasonable range and some Spar branches did. Not sure the former still exists and haven't seen much of anything foreign at a Spar for a long time.

An ereader/tablet and a subscription to one or other of the magazine services is a legal and cheaper way to go if you aren't inclined to just steal the stuff by torrenting etc.

For physical paper magazines try 4me.co.za (the old "on the dot" imported magazine distributor), and see what they have in their monthly catalogue. They will deliver to your street address.

Else you can use Aramex Global Shopper to deliver monthly magazines to the US or UK address, then forward to your SA address - expensive option though.

This is another thing that has disappeared in South Africa - going to CNA and roof reading their extensive range of imported quality magazines!

    Thanks for everyone's input.

I also miss cna for this reason, they had a good selection at a certain time.

It will most likely have to be down the eReader route. Was hoping for a physical copys but alas the days are gone.

Will also check out the local stuff. Thanks again.

Those magazines just cause depression as it shows you so many stuff we will never see in SA.

That is also very true, so sad. But it's just nice to browse. Maybe import something, accessories etc.
