    2 completely different tenders.
The PVC card one was just to supply a type of blank card to GPW by outside private contractors . Those were not the type used for Firearms licenses.
I was told by people who have tendered for the contract that these are cards that require magnetic strips

The tender now mentioned by GOSA is apparently the contract for one government department (GPW) to do work for another government department (SAPS)

They printed a ton of cards on the 14th of May. Mine is printed and on its way to provincial. I was approved the 16th of Apr. According to someone on the GOSA page, the CFR is not providing GPW with the printing files which they bring to them manually on a USB stick. GPW can print thousands upon thousands of cards a day.

I've got a great update for you guys.

Phoned yesterday. Told me my card is printed and on it's way to provincial. Today I speak to a guy that refuses to check. He tells me it's not printed. I ask him politely to check for me, as someone told me yesterday it was. He says, "No, you tell me first, what difference does it make? I'm not checking, I'm telling you it's not printed. Yesterday the person lied to you. We are still printing March". I'm at the point where I feel like trying to fight off 4 guys with Aks using a pool noodle, would be somewhat pleasant compared to dealing with the CFR.

Mine was approved on 23rd April. I assume its wish full thinking that it was printed already. Went to the DFO yesterday, they just pull up their shoulders and say "we dont know". Not willing to check or try to do anything at all !!!
