Backlog with printing of licence cards

Finally got hold of CFR today my license was approved 7 January 2021 they said that they are still printing December cards and will start with January in the next two weeks...Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I believe the first part is true. My cards were approved beginning December. My DFO went to pick them up at the beginning of the month and then the 16th but only got them on the second trip.

Hi Guys

License approved 29 Jan, phone CRF today, informed card is printed and at Provincial in Western Cape not yet collected will phone my DFO tomorrow to check when they will be collecting.

License renewal approved 30-11-2020 , got SMS to collect 25-02-2021.

My licence was approved on 05/02/2021 and my DFO called me today 26/02/2021 to collect the card from his office. 21 days is not bad especially considering the 7 months I waited for it to get approved.

Wife's license was approved 28/1/21. Called DFO today and they said it's ready for collection. No SMS received!

I got one license last week, was approved 30 December, so Im hoping to get another card tomorrow which the license was approved for on 04 Jan, but was not there yet last week.....
