    Default Return of SADPA / IDPA shooting matches in level 3 Lockdown

    Hi guys, seeming as the move to level 3 lockdown is on the horizon, I found this post online regarding possible lifted restrictions.

    https://www.google.co.za/amp/s/busin...wn-report/amp/

    in the report it suggests that ‘non-contact sport matches’ may be held. Do you think this means that SADPA matches may be able to soon be held?

    let me know your thoughts.

    Be wary of a "journalist's" interpretation of the draft reglulations.

    I received a document that is supposed to be the govt working document, which talks about PROFESSIONAL sports matches (non-contact sports). And sports facilities remaining closed except for training of professional sportsmen (non contact).

    So, it looks like after last night’s address by the president. Level 3 still has restrictions on sporting activities.

    So, "non-contact sport" incl. golf & tennis is now allowed.

    Seeing as Shooting sports are non-contact, when can we expect to see club shoots being run again?

    Whenever the relevant authorities provide the go-ahead, probably via Department of Sport/ SASSCo.

    I don't see any change between l3 and l2 with regard to sporting requirements in the regs
