These were the best groupings of a friend's 455. Mind you he had a fixed 6 X RAM scope with crosshairs as thick as Elephant Pubes, but still achieved impressive groups.

    First group was with Lapua.

Second group ( and much to our surprise) was with Fiocchi Blue and Red box.

Both were shot prone off a X-bag and at 50 meters distance .

I'll share this valuable advice I received here a few years back when choosing rimfire ammo.

Shoot at least 10 shots with the new ammo before you shoot groups. Do this everytime you change to a different type of ammo before deciding which is more accurate in your rifle.

I could not verify this even when shooting 6/7 differant ammo's. Perhaps my shooting is just not up to the finer nuances.
I get a R5 coin group with a smaller cluster group in that group, but the ammo I buy is never above R60 a box

I must must so must one day go buy some R120 ammo just too see the differance for my self.

I must how ever admit that both my Gold trigger Browning pistols are ubber snobs, Swartklip equals a tiny ragged cluster, stuff like Remington Thunderbolts result in a group the size of a playing card, regardless of how you rest, trigger, pray.
I can shoot those Brownings and lay the targets out in succession of ammo cost just by groupings.
The Ruger super single Six shoots everything sort of well, sort of shitty depending on who's opinion of good group is asked.

I have a cz455, and have found it shoots most ammo reasonably well. Generally for plinking I will use either Remington thunderbolt, or Winchrster 555.
But for good groups it favours CCI subsonic which I have found at S&O a few times at a fair price.
When I first purchased the rifle I bought a box of every brand of ammo I could get my hands on. The CCI was the clear winner.

Like others have said, try everything you can.

Asked some local club members & my daughter who use CZ452s (so a sample group of 9):
CCI Std Velocity (1070fps) - reasonably accurate & the 2nd cheapest. Odd flier.
SK Std Plus - slightly better but not worth the extra cost.
SK Rifle Match - excellent accuracy & more consistent than the two above. Also more expensive but worth it.
Eley Sport - ok, on a par with SK Std Plus.
    Eley Club - ok.
Eley Match - Excellent accuracy (except 2 who said that it was no beter than SK Rifle Match in their rifles). Frighteningly expensive.
Eley Tenex - only 1 user. So expensive , exclusive and upper class that us mere plebs wouldn't even be able to understand the accuracy nor be able to afford it,

Shot yesterday out of a 10+ year old CZ452 and brand new CZ455 Varmint.

Generally the 452 was more accurate than the 455. I suspect that this will even out once the 455 barrel settles a bit.

SK Standard Plus - Very good accuracy at 50m. 0.5” or less.
SK Match - Very good accuracy at 50m. 0.5” or less.
Lapua Center-X - The best of the lot, albeit very very close to the SK’s.

Shot a few CCI Std velocity out of the 452 only and it was the worst performer of the lot. Even worse than old Swartklip ammo.

An old 3-9 scope on the 452.

New Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP on 20x on the 455.
