    Default Which Silencer...again

I want a silencer primarily for a 6.5mm rifle that is used foe walk and stalk hunting.
Which is recommended between Ase Ultra and A Tec for this purpose.

Would it be possible to use this for double duty on a semi auto 5.56/223

    All assistance highly valued.

I have a surplus reflex suppressor for a 6.5mm. Doesn’t add much length. Got it with my .260 Remington and it has seen very little use. Made by Numenor, I think.

How does it compare to A-Tec and Ase-Ultra in terms pf size and performance. I'm looking at buying once and crying once.

Morning all, instead of creating a new thread...

Looking for a silencer for a 30-06 rifle that will help with reducing felt recoil. The rifle is as light as a feather so you feel every effort of the recoil in your shoulder.

    Any ideas?

I use a CMG Recoil Reaper from Mossel Bay.
    Martel's work is excellent!
It is not a reflex, so does add some length to the barrel, but the sound and Recoil it gets rid of is incredible.
I have converted quite a few people to them once they shoot my rifle

I fitted a slightly longer and heavier stock first, which helped a bit with the rifle's recoil. After that I fitted a Hunt Buddy reflex silencer and the rifle now shoots really well. There's recoil, obviously, but I can now literally shoot it all day long with no problem.

Hi Toxxyc, I also thought of changing the stock as well. Was it it OEM stock or one of the aftermarket (if that is the correct term?) stocks?

Besides extra length, is there a difference between a reflex and non?

Do not underestimate the difference a good quality recoil pad makes. Fitting a Pachmayr Decelerator to my BRNO 308 turned it from a blue-shoulder-in-15-shots to a shoot-all-day rifle. This is due to the combination of softer rubber and about 25mm increase in length of pull.
