If you go to the SAPS website and only enter your reference number (even though it says AND serial, ignore that) it currently gives you back the correct result first time. Not sure how long it will work.

I enquired via email last week and got the following response:

"Receipt of your enquiry acknowledged.

Due to high volume of applications received at Head Office, a special project has been initiated to deal with long outstanding applications. Personnel has been appointed in the special project to catch up on the backlog. We apologise for the delay in the processing of your application.

Please give it some time to process."

that is no good, it means someone is going to fiddle with the site again and break it / change something again.

I am overseas at present and cannot open the SAPS site. Neither does the app work at all. Any suggestions

App predictions and calculations of number of days seems strange the last few days? Predicted date jumped backwards and estamation of a new application went from 80 odd days to 252. Any idea why?
