    Default Hunting license

Is it possible to obtain an Eastern Cape hunting license online?
If not, where does one buy one?

Looks like things are beginning to change... I've got a June ECPTA hunt that was originally booked earlier this year and received this email today from ECPTA...we can only hope that thing will start changing for the better:
    Good morning ECPTA Hunters,

Herewith a legal opinion released by the Department Environmental Affairs Forest and Fisheries. Seems they have indicated that hunting is possible now and have “loosened” the movement restrictions. Seems they are enabling the ECPTA to issue permits for the hunting on its estates.

We will be in touch in the next few days with a way forward. In the meantime, may I please get an indication from those hunters that secured new dates with us to replace their June hunting dates whether they would be keen to keep their new dates or revert back to their old June dates. Please be aware that it is unlikely that we will begin full bookings and operations before the 19th June. We will of course retain both dates in your name until the dust settled.

Looks like we may have a hunting season after all. Thanks so much for your understanding and patience.

    Regards,

Not all Post offices have hunting licences.

Try Bellville Post office. they're about the only place one can get Northern Cape hunting licences in the Cape Town area so I assume they'd have Eastern Cape as well.

Otherwise Kaapjag offices in Durbanville normally have E Cape licences.
