So far my Saiga has been perfect, at last shoot my safety catch started dragging and would not go to the bottom, the weird folding stock safety was causing the problem, solution: stick a screwdriver in it and roll it up until it comes out, problem solved.

Eon, was it easy to do that as my safety is a bit stiff?

Thank you, I took mine out yesterday. Just disassembled the hammer and trigger, wedged a flat head screwdriver into that safety bar, put a tool into the handle of the screw driver for leverage and just twisted until it came out, was out in less than 30 seconds. Put it all back together and all is good! Thanks again

I just removed the safety lever and then twisted it clockwise till the tail end came out of it’s slot.
