Thanks, yeah I have my mind set on the Glock 43x but haven't seen it in real life yet.. will make some time to visit gun shop sometime.

Yes, EDC is what I am looking for. The size is what drew me to the 43x. But I've only seen it on YouTube so far so I need to go to a gun shop.

Do you think I would find decent second hand examples of should I stick to new?

Besides the gun I need to budget for there is all the other extra bits and bobs, anything big I am missing off top of my head:

Primary safe
Travel safe (when I go to parent's farm don't want kids to get to it)
Eye/ear protection
Cleaning kit
Anything else?


Guessing new, I would be looking at about R15k ?
