Re: Suppressors on a DI AR15
I have this issue of the timer missing my shots when shooting Steel Challenge with the suppressor still on my 15-22.
Often times, and especially on busier days, I have to remove the can in order for the timer to pick up the shots.

Re: Suppressors on a DI AR15
Btw suppressors are not legally allowed in Ipsc competition, I think neither in Idpa. I had to adjust my Ced7000 timer sensitivity, to relaibly pick up unsuppresed .22 in mini rifle matches last shots. I try to keep the timer a bit below the ejection port for best results.

They are allowed in IPSC but if larger than 30x90mm (all I have seen are) will put you in Open division.

Re: Suppressors on a DI AR15
Slightly off topic, but silencer and semi auto related, just done the exercise for my CZ Scorpion, got a A-tec in the end.

"Compensators, ports, sound and/or flash suppressors
permitted". Copied directly from the IPSC rules. In the combined rules it is Appendix D6 para 6. It goes on to indicate in which divisions the above is permitted and which size limitations apply. Maybe I'm reading it wrong?
