LOL. On your Viagra joke. I work in Foreshore/Woodstock area. There is a Nigerian shop close to the Shoprite in Main Road. They have poster in Window. They do Hair styling cellphone repairs, Waxing and Botox. Imagine getting Botox at a dodgy place like that.

Thank you for all the suggestions; I actually went and bought a DSV box and Aramax bag. The former is too big and the latter almost too small. Will give people the option, as both are the same effort from my side.

But I'm not a fan of Aramax Global right now. They've taken more than two weeks & counting, where Fedex and DHL have been one week consistently. Their tracking system also sucks - it only shows you where a parcel was, where everyone else tells you where it currently is. They've actually removed all references to delivery times from their website.

Just to borrow this thread: I have a parcel that just today arrived to jimc customs. Does anyone know how long the turnaround is these days?

So my book was shipped from the UK via "Royal Mail International Signed For" on 10 March. I'm pretty sure it arrived at JIMC before the lock down, Royal Mail being a whole lot more efficient than SAPO, yet my tracking shows it only started processing on 30 June:

6/30/2020 8:30 AM	Arrival at inward office of exchange	JIMC A
6/30/2020 2:09 PM	Held by customs	JIMC A
6/30/2020 2:09 PM	Item presented to import Customs	JIMC A
8/11/2020 11:53 AM	Item returned from Customs (import)	JIMC A

So it took 42 days to clear customs. Be prepared for a long wait!
