    Default Value of Plezier Mauser

I have found a Plezier Mauser 7x57 recently belonging to a guy that emigrated. The rifles bore is shot- we bore-scoped it. but the DMW action and externals looks good, but is refinished.
It have the plain front-sight and rear-sight. The double set trigger is also replaced.

What would such an item go for?

I was thinking of buying a barrelled DMW action from Steve Fourie and have it built into a replica Plezier Mauser.

The gunsmith said he could sleeve the barrel to improve grouping? how expensive job is that?

I didn't think anybody in SA was doing that. Who is the gunsmith?

I would venture with confidence that there is no one that will sleeve a barrel in RSA on a commercial basis.
If someone was found, I am as confident it will cost more than 2 rifles to do so, I hope I am wrong.

I consider this good news, glad to hear this. I am (again ) almost sure that this was not available just a few years back, sure it was a subject 10 years back and it was not available here.

I am actually quiet taken back as i am still like thinking "no way"

    Who does it it????
