Well done Cody, I am super proud of you. It was worth the wait I am sure.
One too many wasted sunsets and one too many for the road .........

Re: Cody got his first Kudu
Outside Addo/Kirkwood
7mm-08
Stock Was home made I think.
This is the rifle I got here on site, was a poor shooter, had a shit load of home made things on it. The scope moved because of aluminium home made mounts and the home made swivel mounts for the slings cost me a 3-9 Leopold scope. The stock also had a ton of build issues, but it was sold VERY cheaply because of these issues.
A lot of work and almost a hundred rounds later its a 1/4 inch at 100 m rifle.

Re: Cody got his first Kudu
Well done Dave and Cody.
Will never forget my first Kudu. 9 or 10 years old with a 243.
I'm sure the memories will be past down to the next generation with detail!

Re: Cody got his first Kudu
Wonderful story. I must say, I never regret any of the time that I have spent with my kids, as painful as it was playing barbies with a toddler, I realise now that that was what affirmed them as children, and now I wonder at their confidence in life, far more then I ever had at their age. I wonder if I had a father who was as patient and nurturing with me as I am with my kids, whether I may have turned out more like them.
