Slip 2000 Stockists
Hi All
Where can one get Slip 2000 nowadays? Online or in the Boksburg / Germiston / Benoni / Kempton Park areas. Preferably online.
Or is there a new lube that everyone is using?
Thanks

Hailstorm also does Lucas Extreme Gun oil (The sales guy in shop recommended it over Slip 2000 few weeks ago)

Re: Slip 2000 Stockists
Slip is hard to beat in terms of allowing the carbon to wipe off or run off the gun.

Re: Slip 2000 Stockists
I'm keen to try both Lucas and Slip. I've been using Balistol , because of fears of staining my clothes with IWB.

Re: Slip 2000 Stockists
I seem to be missing a post regarding a question about Bushill Gunsmithy Products I made last week. Is it because "Don't mention Bushill on the forums" or off topic?

Re: Slip 2000 Stockists
Haha. 'Its the lube we do not speak off'
Kidding, I have no first hand experience with any of their products. But i've seen kits with different lubes / cleaners / Carbon cleaner and it looks like it sells for a reasonable price.
Usually see in a pack of 3 different colour tins.
I suspect its just rebranded / generic oil. Never heard anything bad about it.

Re: Slip 2000 Stockists
I used to use Slip 2000 725 Degreaser/Cleaner
It worked very well where I clean with the Degreaser first using a toothbrush and hot water mixed with the 725 Degreaser. Then wipe off with cotton pads. Then lightly oil with Slip 2000 Gun Lube.
My 725 is now finished and I can't seem to find it online in SA. Does anyone still stock this? Or has the world moved on from using it?
