No advice, but enjoy the hunt.

So two years on, my rifle is lisenced in my name, my date for the hunt confirmed and two of my close friends invited.
I hope the Kalahari is not to cold end of July!

Captivity bred lion on a vast hunting ground. I have to stick to shooting a female specimen this round.

Have not been this excited since I was a teenager!

My ammo will be Remington loaded 400grain Swift-A-frames.

My SAKO/Truvelo 416 Remington will be scoped with a 1-6x24 Vortex scope in Warne QD mounts with illuminated reticle. I have the same setup currently on my 8x57 Amberg to practise with.

The 2-3 day hunt hunt is on foot, expecting to walk a lot. Apart from comfortable shoes, hat, backpack and a gun what would you suggest I pack? I am walking a lot in the estate lately as well as jogging a bit.

The hunt is in six week.
