    Totally! I’m looking at either the glock 43x or the glock 19. I think it will come down to whichever I can carry the most comfortably. I’d prefer the 19 though

    Comfort = 43x as it's a lot narrower to go inside waitband.
    Plenty of time to decide .... see if "The Glock Shop" still do packages where you can go & try out a few diff types.

    Gents. Today I submitted the competency application at Umhlali Police. Had to take my wife with and 2 other people as character witnesses.. thought that was a bit weird for a competency app.

    Now the wait begins

    That is standard if you are married.
    Usually they insist a family member, close friend and work colleague, if you are not married. All the best.
    FYI: go back in a month or so and obtain the reference number for your application, so that you can track it via the App on your phone or the website.
